Witch Hand is a minor character in Smiling Friends. She makes her first and only appearance in "Enchanted Forest" as the secondary antagonist of the episode, putting the episode's plot in motion.
Appearance[]
She is depicted a stereotypical witch with green, wrinkly skin and a few stringy hairs on her head. She has a pointed black hat, black robes, and sagging breasts. Additionally, she does not wear any shoes.
Role in episode[]
After arriving in the Enchanted Forest, the Witch loudly flies into the scene and snatches Charlie's hat off the top of his head. He and Pim proceed to follow the witch, where she holds out two fists and tells the duo to guess which hand it's in. After Pim correctly guesses, she switches the hat behind her back and tells Pim he was wrong while laughing.
She then blows pink powder into their faces, making them fall asleep. Upon waking up, Pim and Charlie find themselves in a large cauldron where the witch announces her intention to cook and eat them. Mip appears out of nowhere with a crudely made cross and proceeds to scare her away from her lair.
Trivia[]
- Upon first discovering her, Pim believes that she is part of a "witch quest" he and Charlie have to embark on. It was his belief that doing her "quest" would earn them some "witch gems," though what exactly Pim is referring to is unknown.
- She appears to have an affinity for cooking, as she demonstrates excellent chopping skills when slicing an onion, which even impressed the often cynical Charlie.
- A popular fan theory states that she knows Mip's true nature and was scared off by his presence, rather than the cross he was holding.
