Smiling Friends Wiki

Unfortunately, the United States "FDA" deemed my food a, quote, "hazard," "linked" to fifteen deaths in the past four months alone?! Although, I'm rolling out some new and improved menu items! Come on, I'm Italian.

Simon S. Salty was the titular character from the episode "Who Violently Murdered Simon S. Salty?" After seemingly being murdered, Pim and Charlie must figure out who killed him. He is played by Perry Caravello.

Appearance[]

He is an Italian, overweight man with curly black hair. He wears a black hat, leather jacket, pants, and shoes. Underneath, he wears a black, "Salty's" graphic tee.

History[]

At some point in the past, Simon opened his titular restaurant with the help of his mascots, where he served a variety of greasy fast food for decades until the FDA began cracking down on him. In the information video that plays for customers in the restaurant, Simon begrudgingly refers to the FDA findings of his menu, dismissing the significance of 15 deaths as the result of the food served over the span of a mere 4 months. To appease FDA concerns, he reluctantly created a hastily constructed new menu of healthier food items, something that mascots like Ketchup disagreed with.

After many years in business, his relationships with his mascots deteriorated to the point that most, if not all, sought to murder him for one reason or another. Before any of them could do the deed, however, Simon perishes from a heart attack as the result of eating what was to be his final hamburger before he committed to a healthier lifestyle. The cause of his death is the central plot of "Who Violently Murdered Simon S. Salty?"

Personality[]

Simon S. Salty presents himself as a highly eccentric yet charismatic businessman with a passion for fast food and a commitment to providing customers with a quality experience. However, he is an utterly irresponsible and unethical business owner. He criticizes the FDA for rightly charging him due to his restaurant's unsanitary conditions and unhealthy food. He dismisses and mocks the notion that his food poses a hazard, even though it has been linked to fifteen deaths in just four months. Nevertheless, he eventually complies with the FDA by introducing new, healthier food options, albeit unusual ones, and later attempts to quit his unhealthy eating habits.

Death[]

Simon. S. Salty, although initially dead of a heart attack, was "killed" by (almost) all of his mascots (excluding Century Egg and Grease). The mascots "murders" were more or so just harming the corpse, since he was already passed.

Ketchup[]

Ketchups attack on Simon S. Salty was stabbing him with a knife somewhere around his stomach area. His reasoning for the attack was him and Simon's arguments about the new menu, as he believed that their food should remain greasy and unhealthy.

"Oh, fine, it was me."

Salt and Pepper[]

Salt and Pepper attacked Salty by draining his blood with their soda draining machine, a machine intended to "extract rotten soda" from soda machines and fill it with "fresh soapy soda." Their reasoning for killing him being that he didn't approve of them kissing on the job.

"Fine, fine! We did it."

Crazy Cup[]

Crazy cup attacked Salty through the means of stabbing him on his side. He does not seem to have a direct reason on why he didn't like Salty.

"Alright, you got me."

Fun Twins[]

To "kill" Salty, the fun twins beat him and stabbed him with a pitch fork. Like Crazy Cup, it is unknown why they dislike Salty.

Mustard[]

Mustard smothered Salty using a pillow, in an attempt to suffocate him. The reasoning for attacking Salty was the fact that Salty and Mustard had an affair, and Mustard found killing him easier than breaking his heart.

"It seemed easier to kill him than to break his heart."

His actual death[]

Simon S. Salty, although "killed" by his mascots, died of a heart attack after eating a burger.
