Silly Samuel is a character in Smiling Friends who makes his debut in the episode of the same name. He is a homeless critter who suffers from his ridiculous appearance.
Appearance[]
Silly Samuel is a tall comical looking critter with a blue head and legs. He is rendered in 3D, instead of 2D like most of the other characters shown in the series. His nose is a bicycle horn and on his head is a cuckoo clock. His body is a yellow chunk of cheese with a crab claw attached on a spring for his right arm and a green gooey, stretchy toy hand for his left arm. Tied to his neck is a pink cape. He wears long striped kneesocks on his pipe cleaner-like legs and has shoes that resemble gummy worms. According to the doctors, however, all of his strange features are biological and any attempt to alter or cover up these features will result in his immediate demise. The reason for this is because he has a major artery around the crab claw, that also goes through his cheese body in which that leads straight up to the cuckoo clock on top of his head, but it's also that he breathes through his silly skin.
Personality[]
Silly Samuel is a man filled with woes both about his own condition and the world around him. This nihilistic attitude stems from how people constantly mock him due to his wacky appearance, whether intentionally so or not. However, his own personality doesn’t help change the minds of others either, due to how they either don't listen to him or because his aggressive behaviour pushes people away. Samuel also appears to suffer from severe anxiety caused by pollution, as shown by how he decries the affects of microplastics and pollution during his fountainside rant. He is also prone to self-harm, occasionally chewing on his gooey stretchy hand when going into fits of rage.

- His personality may be derived from lolcow culture, wherein someone will draw substantial attention to themselves through their own nature via absurd acts and statements that result in ridicule, even though they also try to live a normal life.
- He appears to resemble some of infamous YouTuber animator320’s characters, more particularly, moe and Joe, wacky quacky, huckleberry sound, etc.
