Smiling Friends Wiki
"Hwell, I don't know what that peanut or that fellow over there are saying, but, I believe you should try to win back the marketplace with a more competitive business model."
—Ronald Reagan, "Frowning Friends"

Ronald Reagan, within the show, is a supporting character that is implied to be a hallucination of Mr. Boss as he brainstorms ways to recover financially from the Frowning Friends' recently opened business. The real life equivalent served as the President of the United States from 1981 to 1989 after defeating James Earl Carter Jr. in the Election of 1980. It is unknown if he served this same role in the Smiling Friends universe. It is known, however, that Shrimpo Jones won the 1980 election in a landslide, meaning that Ronald Reagan could not have served in the 1981-1985 term.

Appearance[]

Body[]

In his only appearance, he wears a brown button-up suit and tie.

Personality[]

Ronald Reagan, in contrast to both Warren E. Buffett as well as Mr. Peanut, is more relaxed and reasonable in his suggestions for turning around The Boss's company. He is shown to also be more level-headed as he questions The Boss's logic for inviting his peers without taking their advice.

Relationships[]

Mr. Boss[]

Ronald Reagan is assumedly both The Boss's friend as well as business equal. However, he could also be a figment of Mr. Boss's imagination as he disappears when Allan questions him.
