The Forest Demon was the main antagonist of the episode "A Silly Halloween Special." He was a demonic, tree-like creature that inhabited the forest across the street from Smiling Friends Inc.
Appearance[]
The Forest Demon is a tall, lanky tree-like monster with a bony, emaciated frame. His body is made partially of wood, with dark brown bark for skin, and gangling arms and legs that resemble branches. Long twig-like structures extend out of his scalp in place of hair, and his face is roughly human-like, with sunken cheeks, an upturned nose, yellow teeth, and large bright blue eyes. Though his exterior is composed of wood, he also possesses bones and internal organs not unlike those of a human.
Role in episode[]
On Halloween, Pim volunteered to collect fire wood for a party and went into the forest adjacent to the Smiling Friends' office. Pim eventually got lost and the Demon began to stalk him. After scaring Pim by the river, the Demon aggressively pursued him through the forest. When ihecornered Pim, the latter shot the Demon in his eye with a pellet gun, distressing the Demon long enough for Pim to reach the office. The Demon flew into the night sky and dove toward Pim as he banged on the locked front door. Pim hurried behind of the building, entered through the back door and managed to reach the safety of the Halloween party. The Demon nonetheless broke into the office with him, surprising the party-goers.
When Party Bro accused the Demon's appearance of being blackface, the Demon finally spoke by nervously denying the claim. His attempts to defuse the confrontation were futile, as the party-goers (including Mr. Boss, who is seen feasting on his arm) proceeded to ruthlessly smash his head in, rip and tear his limbs off and savagely eat his insides, horrifying Pim, Allan, Glep, and His Wife. Though Charlie's girlfriend was equally as shocked, Charlie himself was unfazed and reaffirmed why he refuses to wear Halloween costumes. The party-goers then burned the Demon's mangled remains while cheering like crazed maniacs.
