Father Frog is a minor character in Smiling Friends. He is the father of Mr. Frog who appears in "Le Voyage Incroyable de Monsieur Grenouille." He is seen living alone in his house after his wife died.
Appearance[]
He is a live-action human in green bodypaint who is likely a hybrid between a human and a frog. Much like his son, he is shirtless and wears brown pants.
Personality[]
Father Frog is initially apathetic upon seeing his son show up at his front door in the middle of the night. After he begins speaking his feelings to Mr. Frog, however, a buried resentment begins to emerge, and the elderly father angrily condemns his son's career and chastises him for not being there for his mother when she passed away. The interaction ends with him bitterly telling Mr. Frog to leave while verbally disowning him.
While achieving inner peace, Mr. Frog briefly has a flashback to his childhood, when he and his father both seemed happy as he rode on his dad's shoulders.
