The Bug of Knowledge is a character in "Le Voyage Incroyable de Monsieur Grenouille." He is the self-proclaimed bearer of answers to all of life's questions.
When Mr. Frog achieves "inner peace," the Bug appears to him and allows him to consume him, after which he experiences visions of his life before metamorphosing into a realistic frog.
Appearance[]
He's a six-legged insect with a bright teal body, three golden yellow compound eyes on top of his head, and thin white translucent wings. He has a pointed tail and floats against a bright, ethereal sky with soft lighting.
Personality[]
The Bug of Knowledge is a benevolent character with answers to everything in the universe, apart from how to fix his computer. He uses his powers to help others find peace and meaning, and eventually sacrifices himself by allowing Mr. Frog to consume him.
However, he easily goes off-topic considering his long tangent about his computer problems instead of addressing why he summoned Mr. Frog. Despite this, he didn't blame Mr. Frog for being unable to help and assured him it was okay.
