Brittney is a character in Smiling Friends, serving as the antagonist of "Erm, the Boss Finds Love?". She is Satan’s daughter.
Appearance[]
Brittney is a deep red demon with a seductive, hourglass figure. Her physical assets are always emphasised in her outfits, such as her breasts being mostly visible in her wedding dress, or her abs being accentuated in her casual attire. She can also sprout bat wings if she so chooses to.
Her face however, is a different story entirely. She has two giant eyes with red irises, squiggly hair and eyelashes, demon horns, no nose, and rotting yellow teeth. Her cheeks are wide and open, similar to that of a chipmunk, and she has six gangly fingers per hand.
Personality[]
Brittney is a very manipulative woman, using various methods of magic to seduce and tempt men into doing her bidding. She's loyal to her father and does all this to further his power rather than for her own personal gain.
However, her positive attitude is very much genuine, speaking in a chipper tone and hating all forms of negativity. When given the opportunity to do so, she decorated the Smiling Friends office with various things such as dreamcatchers, crystals and charms; all of which are designed to absorb "bad vibes."
Trivia[]
- Brittney's appearance on the show was a collaborative effort between Dan Peacock, who provided her design, and RedMinus, who animated her. [3]
- Pim states that her name is Filia Diabulus, which means "daughter of Satan," though Daniel the Demonslayer's video is on how to slay "a Filia Diabulus", implying that 'Filia Diabulus' refers to all daughters of Satan. As Daniel has more experience with demons, the latter is more likely.
- Her jumpscare face-reveal may be a reference to the infamous Violin Girl scene from the Courage The Cowardly Dog episode "Courage In The Big Stinkin' City".
- The text Pim reads describing Brittney consists of the lyrics to the song "What Took You So Long?" by Emma Bunton translated into Latin.[4]
