Bliblies are minor characters in Smiling Friends who make their debut in "Desmond's Big Day Out." They are a species of small murderous critters. While they seem somewhat intelligent, they are regarded as pests.
The Bliblies had once infested Smiling Friends Inc. as a result of Allan searching for his cheese. This gave Desmond, a client of the Smiling Friends, purpose in life, and has thus made the company Desmond's Bliblie Control to exterminate them.
The bumper 'Virus' implies they may have originally been microscopic organisms, as the disease creatures from that bump look strikingly similar to the Bliblies.
Appearance[]
Bliblies are diminutive pink creatures with a humanoid physique, oval eyes and tiny pupils, and no visible nose. Their mouth is almost always fixed in a smile, and their eyes can widen a great deal, as evidenced when one Bliblie's eyes and pupils enlarge upon spotting Pim, Charlie and Desmond. When a Bliblie stabs Allan with a paperclip, it gained detailed eyes with visible sclera and blue pupils. Beyond that, no distinguishing features can be found. Bliblies are almost completely identical to one another. However, in some background shots, a Bliblie can be seen with no arms, and one large blue eye in the middle of its head, suggesting that some different variations of Bliblies exist.
Nests[]
Bliblies reside in nests inside the walls of buildings. The nests appear as large, purple, testicular-looking sacs hanging down from the ceiling. They can hold a great number of Bliblies. Although no opening can be seen, Bliblies can enter their nest by simply running into it. The nest can bust open similarly to a spider egg, releasing the Bliblies on the building, and any unfortunate humans or critters inside.
Behavior[]
Bliblies possess a single-minded drive to commit violence and cause rampant chaos. They will attack anyone indiscriminately, even other Bliblies. Despite this, Bliblies are not unintelligent, as they can make rudimentary weapons out of things like a sharpened paperclip, and are intelligent enough to know about and recreate the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. They are also smart enough to manipulate more intelligent beings, as evidenced when one Bliblie lulls Allan into a false sense of security, drawing him close enough to attack him and make its escape. They do not appear to speak any human language, instead making incoherent babbling noises almost constantly.
Bliblies seemingly show little regard for one another, as one of them can be seen stabbing another one with a paperclip.
Bliblies can also emit a loud screeching noise similar to the one made by the aliens in Invasion of the Body Snatchers, alerting other Bliblies to the presence of other humans or critters. Although they are not immune to pain, they don't appear to show any reaction to it beyond their initial reaction, save for being set on fire.

Role in series[]
In the episode "Desmond's Big Day Out," Allan finds a Bliblie in possession of his missing piece of cheese. He corners the Bliblie, but it catches him off guard and attacks him with a sharpened paperclip. Alan chases the Bliblie into its nest, which bursts open, and the Bliblies overwhelm him. The Bliblies then swarm the Smiling Friends building. Pim, Charlie and Desmond return to the building to find the Bliblies recreating the Crucifixion on Alan. One Bliblie spots the trio, screams, and rushes them, but is shot by Desmond. Desmond remarks that it felt good and, after the building is cleared of Bliblies, goes on to start a business dedicated to exterminating Bliblie infestations.
At the end of the episode, several dead Bliblies are seen in the break room as Glep cleans up the carnage.
In the episode "Charlie Dies and Doesn't Come Back", Charlie has to run through a swarm of now demonic Biblies as he is trekking through Hell. They later show up and help Satan with torturing Charlie alongside a few other demons and Jeremy.
