Bill Nye is a character who appears in "Pim Finally Turns Green."
Appearance[]
Bill Nye is a characterized version of the real-life Bill Nye, having grey hair, brown eyes, brown eyebrows, and wrinkles around his eyes and cheeks, mimicking his real-life counterpart. He also is seen wearing a blue lab coat and a red tie like in his show Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Background[]
After Charlie explains that he has the perfect plan to explain to Rotten that death is nothing to be afraid of, Bill Nye appears in a hot air balloon and starts singing about why we shouldn't be afraid of death. While he is singing, his hot air balloon falls onto an electrical power line, gets electrocuted, and catches on fire. Bill Nye falls over and tragically perishes, but his spirit lives on as a ghost.
Personality[]
In the episode, Bill Nye is shown as a cheery science guy who is really passionate about comforting people about the concept of death by telling them that it is only a natural part of life that happens to every living thing on Earth. This is shown best when Bill Nye sings a song to Rotten the Snowman about how death is nothing to be afraid of before ironically dying in a gruesome electrical fire aboard his hot air balloon.

Charlie Dompler[]
Although it is not confirmed, Charlie tells Rotten the Snowman that he knows a person that can explain the concept of death perfectly, that person being Bill Nye, which may hint at an earlier interaction between them likely through his uncle. Charlie was also the most affected after Nye’s death, even singing a bit of the theme song to Bill Nye The Science Guy while trying to process what happened due to growing up watching him and being a really huge fan.
